Revolución del Compost is the recent Spanish version of consolidate Brazilian project called “Cadico Minhocas”. Since 2011, both ventures are engaged to spread information to teach citizens around the world how to do high quality compost in house using a easy method known as worm composting, the greenest way to recycle organic matter.
Worm composting is a way for recycling organic waste into a rich, dark, earth-smelling soil conditioner. A significant advantage of worm composting is that it also can be done indoors (including small apartments). In a nutshell, worm compost is made in a container filled with moistened bedding and redworms.
After the organic waste is added and a certain period of time (between 8 and 12 weeks) has passed, the worms and micro-organisms will convert, without unwanted odors or flies, the contents into rich compost called humus. As a social entreprise committed to Circular Economy and who works hard for a better tomorrow, it is a big pleasure being a partner of the FILfest 2016.
